OLD TOWN SAGINAW
MUSIC ASSOCIATION

Dedicated to promoting traditional, acoustic music
and related arts in the greater Saginaw area.

what we are about

The Old Town Saginaw Music Association (OTSMA) is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to promoting traditional, acoustic music and related arts in the greater Saginaw area. We meet regularly to make music together, and to make music available to the public. We warmly welcome anyone, young and old. Bring your favorite songs and instruments. Bring your voices and your ears. More about OTSMA, and a little history…

Communication among OTSMA members takes place by way of our Google Group.

jam sessions

We invite you to join us for round-robin jam sessions held monthly at First Presbyterian Church, 121 S. Harrison St. in Saginaw. We meet on the second Wednesday evening from 7-9pm unless we have an event scheduled elsewhere. Enter at the stairwell on the Adams St. end of the church building. Knock loudly on the windows to the left of the stairwell doors to be let in, as the music may be rather loud.

The jam sessions are an opportunity to get to know the group, share songs and technique and celebrate our love of making music together. Musicians of all levels are welcome, and listeners, too.

membership

To join, download our membership application form and mail it to the address on the form with a check for the desired membership type, or bring it to the weekly jam session.
